Revenants who venture the Heart of Maguuma with the Heart of Thorns expansion can choose to become heralds, communing with the legendary dragon champion Glint through the Legendary Dragon Stance to provide boons to nearby allies by using facets. As a soldier profession, revenants wear heavy armor. Additionally, revenant skills cost energy, a resource that replenishes over time or when switching legends. Revenants commune with two legends, channeling only one at a time, swapping between the two while in combat. They commune with echoes of legendary heroes and villains from Tyria’s past, which aid them in battle. The profession is only available to players who have purchased any of the Elder Dragon Saga expansions: Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire or End of Dragons. Revenant is a profession able to channel the power of the Mists through Legends, their profession mechanic. Heavily armored and equipped with the otherworldly powers of the Mists, revenants channel Tyria’s legends to slaughter foes, unleash chaos on the battlefield, and support their allies.
